Heaven and Hell are going to have some time off, due to Tony Iommi’s upcoming hand surgery and necessary time for recovery. The band is already making plans for dates next year.

In the meantime, DIO, the band fronted by Ronnie James Dio, has scheduled some U.K dates in November and is expected to announce dates for other European countries as well. After this announcement, rumors of Heaven and Hell breaking up spread, which DIO’s management squashed, explaining that DIO is only arranging dates until Heaven and Hell hits the road again.
