Tobias Sammet has confirmed the first guests for the new Avantasia album which is scheduled to be released by the end of 2009.

Scorpions frontman, Klaus Meine, has recorded a duet with Sammet for the album, while Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande (Jorn, Masterplan, Ark) and drummers Eric Singer (Kiss, Alice Cooper) and Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody of Fire, Angra, Sieges Even) are scheduled to appear in the album.
