German metallers Edguy have entered the studio to begin recording their new album.  The band has chosen to record at the Peppermint Park studio in Hannover.

Tobias Sammet has stated that the band has thirteen songs ready but they’ll most probably pick ten and put those on the album.  The band’s latest release “Tinnitus Sanctus” was released in November of 2008 through Nuclear Blast.
