German thrash metal veterans Sodom have officially announced that the band has ended its cooperation with drummer Bobby Schottkowski.

According to the announcement, the split came after personal and private problems between Tom ‘Angelripper’ Such and Bobby Schottkowski. A replacement drummer will be announced soon, while the shows from January onwards will be performed as planned. The band also just released its new album “In War And Pieces” in Europe with a North American release date following on January 11.
