L.A. based heavy metallers White Wizzard have recorded a brand new song entitled “Shooting Star” which was written as a tribute to Ronnie James Dio.

“Shooting Star” is available for streaming on the band’s MySpace page. The track is the first recording to feature the band’s new vocalist Peter Ellis. A new White Wizzard single featuring “Shooting Star” and a cover of Dio’s “We Rock” will be released via iTunes on October 18 and will also be made available as a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl exclusively on White Wizzard’s upcoming U.K. headlining tour.
