After the passing of Quiet Riot singer and co-founding member Kevin DuBrow in 2007, Quiet Riot was considered by many as “past”.

While going through the vaults of vintage video material for an upcoming documentary of the band's history, drummer Frankie Banali started thinking how the band could come out again. The easy part was filling the guitar and bass slots, as former members Chuck Wright (bass) and Alex Grossi (guitar) promptly signed on. However, having to fill DuBrow's large shoes was the difficult part. Singer Mark Huff came to Banali’s attention while fronting a California-Based Van Halen tribute band, he auditioned and got the gig. Quiet Riot is currently firming up plans for a full U.S. tour, their first in three years, plus there is a documentary –as mentioned before- on the horizon. The new Quiet Riot begins with the blessing from late Kevin DuBrow’s family.
