According to The Pulse Of Radio, Metallica have confirmed that the newly added concerts on their fall South Pacific tour will be the last ones the band has booked in support of 2008’s “Death Magnetic” album.
The post claims that Metallica has played a total of 212 shows in 153 cities since hitting the road in May 2008 to promote “Death Magnetic”. The last show on the trek will be November 21 in Melbourne, Australia. From then on the band will start working on a new album, with many ideas being already worked on during the band’s current tour, according to bassist Robert Trujillo.
