Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has announced the return of original bassist David Ellefson to the band.

This reunion occurs just in time for the upcoming “Rust In Peace” 20th anniversary tour, due to start on March 1, during which Megadeth will play their landmark 1990 album “Rust In Peace” in its entirety, in addition to other Megadeth favorites. Mustaine also thanked bassist James Lomenzo on behalf of all the band’s members for the years he played with them and wished him the very best.
