The cover artwork for the two-CD new effort from Edguy frontman Tobias Sammet’s Avantasia project has been posted on www.tobiassammet.com and you can watch it below.

There are actually 2 covers, one for each of the two separate CD’s, "The Wicked Symphony" and "Angel Of Babylon", that will come out separately and in a limited edition in one box set on April 3, 2010. The artwork was created by Thomas Ewerhard, who also worked on Edguy's "Hellfire Club" and Avantasia's "The Scarecrow" albums. The list of musicians to guest on the album includes: Klaus Meine (Scorpions), Bruce Kulick (Kiss, Grand Funk Railroad), Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens (Judas Priest, Iced Earth, Yngwie Malmsteen), Michael Kiske (Helloween), Jorn Lande (Masterplan), Russell Allen (Symphony X, Yngwie Malmsteen, Dio), Bob Catley (Magnum), Eric Singer (Kiss, Alice Cooper), André Matos (Angra, Shaaman, Viper), Jens Johansson (Stratovarius), Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody), Felix Bohnke (Edguy), producer/guitarist Sascha Paeth (Heavens Gate), Ralf Zdiarstek (Amitav), Oliver Hartmann (At Vance, Hartmann) and Cloudy Yang.
