Wendy Dio, wife and manager of legendary Ronnie James Dio released a statement according to which Ronnie James Dio has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer.

The singer is starting treatment immediately. Wendy Dio added that “after he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans”.

We send our best to Ronnie James Dio and wish him a quick recovery. And, as Wendy Dio said, “Long live rock and roll, long live Ronnie James Dio”.
