German hard rock legends Scorpions have set "Sting In The Tail" as the title of their new album, which is scheduled for a release in early 2010.

The CD is being recorded at a studio in Hannover, Germany with Swedish producers Mikael "Nord" Andersson and Martin Hansen. Guitarist Matthias Jabs has commented that the band is currently working on 12 songs, which, according to the guitarist, are more towards the early 80’s in sound and attitude. In 2010, the Scorpions will go out on a 2-year world tour, for which the fist dates have already been confirmed in Germany for May and early June.
