Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler joined the Joe Perry Project last night in New York to perform the Aerosmith classic “Walk This Way” and rumors say he assured the crowd that he is not quitting Aerosmith.

Tyler also appeared at ‘2009 Glamour Women of the Year Awards’ on Monday evening in New York and when he was asked whether he is leaving Aerosmith he answered “Does it look like I’m leaving Aerosmith?” and also that behind all this it’s the people who are putting out Joe Perry’s album. Of course that objects to Joe Perry’s recent statement that Steven Tyler has quit the band and that Aerosmith is positively looking for a new singer.
