Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry has talked to Las Vegas Sun and said that singer Steven Tyler quit the band following a recent concert in Abu Dhabi.

Bassist Tom Hamilton had also said, prior to that, that there is dissension among the members but that he hopes things can be worked out, dismissing a report that guitarist Brad Whitford discussed the possiblity of Aerosmith finding a new frontman. Joe Perry also told the Sun that Steven Tyler is history; he saw on the internet that Tyler is leaving the band, but he doesn’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever.
