Greek extreme metallers Rotting Christ will embark on their first-ever Australian tour in December and January.

The band made the following announcement: “We are really honored to finally have the chance to celebrate New Year’s Eve together with our Australian metal brothers on the roster of Screamfest, one of the country’s biggest Metal Festivals, on the 31st of December 2009 followed by another two shows: 4 January 2010 at Billboard, Melbourne, and 5 January 2010 at Hi Fi, Brisbane”. Rotting Christ recently entered the studio in order to begin recording their new album for a February 2010 release.
