Dream Theater singer James LaBrie is going to release his new solo album entitled “Static Impulse” on September 28 via InsideOut Music.

The album features LaBrie's longtime songwriting partner and keyboardist Matt Guillory, Peter Wildoer from Swedish thrashers Darkane on drums and screaming vocals, Marco Sfogli on guitar and Ray Riendeau (Halford) on bass. It was mixed and mastered by Jens Borgen, who has worked with Opeth and Katatonia as well. LaBrie’s last solo effort “Elements of Persuasion” was released in 2005 on InsideOut Music.
