Chickenfoot, the supergroup featuring Joe Satrianι, Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith, will spend most of September working on their second album which is expected to be released in spring 2011.

The producer for the album hasn’t been chosen yet, but it is very possible that Andy Johns and Mike Fraser, who both worked on the band’s debut album, will once again work with the band. The band’s self-titled debut album was released last June and it has sold over 750,000 copies.
