Drummer Vinny Appice (Heaven and Hell, Dio, Black Sabbath) is having a surgery on his right shoulder for an injury sustained during the Heaven and Hell tour. It will take Appice almost 5 months to be back behind the kit.

After the breaking news that Ronnie James Dio suffers from stomach cancer and after Tony Iommi underwent also surgery and treatment for his injured hand, it is sad to hear that another Heaven and Hell member is having health problems. We wish all three of them all the best and a speedy recovery.
