Nevermore have completed recording their new album to be titled “The Obsidian Conspiracy” and scheduled to be released in early 2010 through Century Media Records. Andy Sneap (Megadeth, Arch Enexodus, Machine Head) will once again be handling mixing duties.

Although the final track listing of the album is not yet announced, some of the songs that were laid down during the recordings are "Emptiness Unobstructed", "Without Morals", "And The Maiden Spoke", "Termination Proclamation", "The Obsidian Conspiracy", "The Blue Marble and the New Soul", "The Day You Built The Wall" and "Beautiful Mistake".
