"Feel The Steel"

Label: Island Records

The American band Metal Skool, after 8 years of sold out appearances in L.A. and after they’ve been voted as “The best tribute band in the universe”, decided to write their own songs and release their debut album. So, after they changed their name to Steel Panther and signed with Universal Republic, they release now “Feel The Steel”, an album that is the surprise of 2009 for sure. Who would expect it, a parody- tribute band composing such songs that even the audience at The Key Club now ask them to play these ones instead of the famous cover songs!

Steel Panther comprises by ex members of L.A.Guns, Halford and Atomic Bombs, and of course they play 80’s American hard rock/metal, which even though it can’t stand out for its originality, it accomplishes to become absolutely diverting, with songs that would be on the playlist of every youth party in the US back in the 80’s! “Death To All But Metal” is already a big hit in America and the same will probably happen with the amazing “Community Property”, “Asian Hooker” and “Party All Day”. The lyrics keep up with their great live stand up comedy appearances and they are full of sexual hints, so everyone who wants to hear the album and have a good time must have the necessary attitude and of course not to belong in a feminism organization! The only bad thing with Steel Panther is that you can’t take them seriously. I think that it is pity a band that evidently can compose such good songs has not ever released an album with “normal songs”.

After a good internet search you can find the already censored amazing video clips of “Death To All But Metal” and “Community Property” and I bet that they will make you listen the “Feel The Steel” album immediately!
