Hate Squad
Degüello Wartunes
Label: Dockyard 1
This is the 15th anniversary full length album from Hate Squad. The Germans have released so far one split back in 1994 (best of demos), four full length albums (“Theater Of Hate”, “I.Q. Zero”, “Pzyco!”, “H8 For The Masses”), one single and two EP, all extreme death hardcore metal. Also, they have participated in several festivals around Europe such us Dynamo and Wacken open air.
“Degüello Wartunes” was recorded in the Rape Of Harmonies studios (Heaven shall burn, Maroon, Narziss) in late 2007. This anniversary album from this Hannover hardcore band combines the good times of “Not My God” and “I.Q. Zero” with a modern, aggressive, upgraded sound. Extreme, speedy death hardcore metal that drives you to your limits along with its thrash elements. Powerful, full of hatred, with sharp as a knife riffs and raw vocals like the call of the lion in the jungle, bombastic rhythm section, resentful guitars and with composes that should be an example to the new bands. All the above plus the contribution in some tracks of the album by guests such as Markus Bishoff (Heaven Shall Burn), Timo Bohling, Jullian Tamke (Maintain), give us one of the strongest Hate Squad albums that I am sure you will love.
For those who don’t know, Hate Squad were voted as the “Newcomers of the year" back in 1995. The boys from Hannover are back to show us how to have a good time with guaranteed well played metal and they will definitely give us even more good moments in the future.
