One of the most important (especially as far as their live appearances are concerned), Thunder, have unfortunately announced their split up! Since 1989 with “Backstreet Symphony” up to now, they have given us their breathtaking music with their unforgettable ballads but also with their rock/hard rock and even some funky moments.

It would be a crime if this cd was considered by the fans as a compilation with outtakes from the band’s last album “Bang”. On the contrary, this is a complete piece of work – in my opinion, better than “Bang”- that has some real rockers to show off, such as “Survivor” and “Chain Reaction”, as well as amazing hard rock ballads like “I Believe” and the exceptional “Only You Can Make Me Cry”. Once again, the album is musically conducted by Luke Morley and Ben Matthews’ guitars as well as by – how do I put this…- Danny Bowes’ sensational, powerful and tireless voice.

My suggestion is to get this album without second thoughts and you’d better make it soon as it will be a limited copies release. Thunder’s finale is definitely worthy of the band’s name and all us fans we hope that their disbanding is only a break and not final or permanent. If this last one is the case…so long…
