The Answer

"Everyday Demons"

Label: Albert Records

In 2006 the then unknown The Answer released their debut album entitled "Rise". The album is excellent; it accepted dithyrambic criticism and forced even the biggest names in hard rock such as Jimmy Page and David Coverdale to speak with the best words about this new band. Four years later, The Answer release the much anticipated sequence of "Rise" "Everyday Demons".

Great riffs, beautiful vocals and songs that charm and catch the listener's interest immediately. What else could you ask for? All the 11 songs on the disc are moving in their familiar hard rock, with several blues influences, style. The guitarist Paul Mahon leaves excellent impressions on both rhythm parts and in solos with his classic hard rock and blues feeling, Cormac Neeson with his impressive range of voice is raising the level while Mickey Waters on bass and James Heatly on drums make the sound of the band more solid than ever.

The album begins with "Demon Eyes"
, which excites with its inexhaustible energy and continues with "Too Far Gone" to rivet with the beautiful melodies and riff, the nice solo and the impressive drumming. "On And On", which is the first single of the album, continues in the same style with the vocals stealing the show this time. In"Cry Out," "Why'd You Change Your Mind" and "Tonight" the blues elements are very sharp and clear giving a rock / blues color in the album and in tracks like the great "Pride" there are some pop / rock elements. In the end, one of the best songs is the only ballad on the album, the magical "Comfort Zone" with the slow and melodic riff that also contains some "eastern" influences.

In general, "Everyday Demons" is a really excellent album and worthy successor
of "Rise". It will fully satisfy the friends of hard rock and t will definitely be included in the best hard rock albums of the year. A top-album in its genre!
