"Monster Philosophy"

Label: Cargo Records

“Monster Philosophy” is the title of D.A.D.’s new, tenth album. Following the hard rock, aggressive Rock ‘n’ Roll sound that we loved about them in their previous albums, their new release is also very good, sophisticated and I am sure that D.A.D. fans and not only will love this one.

The album begins with “Revolution” that definitely prepares us for this really good album. And so does the second track
Nightmares In The Daytime”, with its outbursts and its catchy chorus. “Too Deep For Me” is a classic D.A.D. track, full of melodies and, in my opinion, already the best song of this release. “Rock NRoll”, “Beautiful Together”, the title trackMonster PhilosophyandIf You Had A Head” are songs with a party mood, fast riffs and loud vocals. The rest of the songs prove not less powerful at all, so here I can say that this is a well done release with a very good production.

D.A.D. already count almost 29 years as a band and 23 years in discography and, as it seems, they have not lost their mood for hard work and they have in no way rushed a release with some ‘cheesy’ material of no quality just to release an album…this is definitely not their tactics. For a band that started back in the 80s and is still around in discography, trying to create something new but without losing its personality and at the same time there are people liking it and enjoying it, it is considered as a big success. This is what we see in D.A.D.

To sum up, I think that “Monster Philosophy” is a CD, that apart from the D.A.D. fans, anyone can have and listen to with a great pleasure…
