Backyard Babies

"S/T"

Label: Spinefarm Records

The Swedish band strikes again, this time with a more mature release, that I could describe almost as a combination of their previous albums and much closer to People Like People Like People Like us”. At this point, I ought to mention the band’s punctuality in the circuit.

So, I have some points to underline:

This new record is a little more “radio friendly” than their previous releases. Not that it is a big deal anyway, it’s just that songs like Come undone”, “DroolandAbandon”, could easily make it through the media, apart from clubs or venues where they should be played anyway. Therefore

Do you like the
fast Ramones style tracks? You should get the new Backyard Babies cd.

Do you like lyrics and titles such as “Fuck off and die”? You should get the new Backyard Babies cd.

Do you like the records that all of their songs are there for a reason and they aren’t just fillers? You should get the new Backyard Babies cd.

One of the must releases of 2008. End of story…

P.S.: Bring them to Greece for a rock ‘n’ roll party at once!!!
