"Into The Night"

Label: Heavy Artillery

Enforcer is a brand new band that comes from Sweden and as it seems, their main goal is to recovery the early 80s heavy metal! What do I mean by that? Iron Maiden – self titled & “Killers”, Exciter, early Armored Saint, Metallica  - “Kill ‘Em All” eras and of course pure N.W.O.B.H.M., all in one is right here! This album truly sounds like it was release back in 1983 or something and that is something that you can tell from the points of view of songwriting, sound, even of the cover artwork! Old school metal at its best and as loyal to the genre’s tradition as it gets! An album that, in fact, surprises greatly and in every level.

“Black Angel” is the opening track and attacks without mercy even the most disbeliever listener with the album’s  true metal attitude, while the continuation seems like a dream to come true for every fan of the genre. The instrumental “City Lights” is the closest thing to early Iron Maiden you can get, played perfectly and with an amazing feeling. In general all the songs are characterized by a speed metal tempo, Maiden-like double guitar solos, strong and high vocal performances, well made choruses, all delivered with in a pure and nostalgic old school metal feeling in every level.

Even though the band’s influences vary among several classic metal bands of the genre, Enforcer doesn’t sound at all like a band that is trying to copy or something. Reversely, the band has identity, powerful music character and their debut album “Into The Night” can stand without a doubt among other great, old school metal albums of the early 80s. These guys have energy, inspiration and loyalty to old school heavy metal and their “thirst” for it is obvious with a lot of energy at their debut album.

It’s needless to say that this is a must have for every single
N.W.O.B.H.M./old school heavy metal fan out there! In fact, this is a must have for EVERY metal fan! Believe it or not, this album will give you the chills!
