As most of you already know, there is a revival of a genre that prevailed in the 80’s (glam/sleaze), with some differences as far as the music direction – and I mean the more punk influences- although the looks remains the same. Crazy make-up, dyed hair and tons of hairspray got with this music trend that comes mostly from Scandinavia.

This is where Cyanide 4 come to shake the Greek, stagnant waters, as this motivation has unfortunately left the Greek audience apathetic.  A Greek band that you know exactly what you will get from on your cd player even only once you look at the cover.

What‘s the good thing about it? It has nothing to be jealous of relevant releases of foreign bands, both from the aspect of production (even though it is self released) as well as the attitude and the compositions. Highlights are the tracks “Hide in the shadow” and“Temptation failed”, with their smart Crashdiet-like background vocals along the couplets, while two left songs “Bad love parade” and “Cyanide” are not too bad either. What’s not good about this effort is that “Complex” is an E.P. !!! Hopefully they will soon have the chance to release a complete album.
