Joe Lynn Turner
"Live In Germany"
Label: Frontiers
Joe Lynn Turner is one of the most talented musicians in the hard rock scene and this is totally recognized. Counting at least 31 years of career, Joe has given us countless moments of quality music from Rainbow, Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Deep Purple to HTP (Hughes/Turner Project), Brazen Abbot, Mother’s Army and Fandango. His solo career in discography began in 1985 with his magnificent A.O.R. album “Rescue You” and up to day he counts 10 solo studio albums.
His new cd “Live In Germany”, which features his appearance at the United Forces Of Rock Festival, in Ludwigsburg, Germany, on September 30 2007, is a taste of the talented singer/composer during a live performance that emphasizes more on the Rainbow era, including songs from his solo career as well. Songs like “Death Alley Driver”, “I Surrender”, “Street of Dreams”, Can’t Let You Go”, “Stone Cold”, “Can’t Happen Here”, Spotlight Kid”, “Burn”, are performed with Joe’s typical passionate style and lead to an enjoyable live album especially for his fans.
There aren’t many more things to say about this release simply because it is not necessary; let Joe’s magical voice and performance of these classic, epic hits take us away. Although a release without new material, it is a must for the die-hard fans of the great Joe Lynn Turner! |
