"Hope"

Label: Frontiers

Lesperance’s gang strikes again for the last time as their lead singer Harry Hess announced. Last album from the Canadian Harem Scarem, who have given lots of amazing songs for almost 20 years, beginning in 1991 with their self titled album and ending in 2008 with this new and last album “Hope”.

Well played tracks, nice melodies and good production have as a result a great cd that is just as good as their previous albums even though this is the last one. Best moments of the album are “Days Are Numbered”, “Dark Times”, “Calm Before the Storm”, one of the fastest songs of the album, as well as the ballads “Shooting Star” and “Nothing Without You” with their amazing melodies, a trademark of the Canadian band.

Harem Scarem did a great job for their last album and they didn’t just go for an offhand. “Hope” is an album that is worth buying and listening to any time!
