"Bang!"

Label: Frontiers

Thunder is one of those bands that keep giving their fans exactly what they are asking: straight rock ‘n’ roll! Their new album under the working title “Bang!” is the 9th studio release for the British rockers that continues the rock ‘n roll tradition of the band. The fact that a hard rock band made it (like many others) through the grunge and alternative “storm” of the 90’s and keeps doing its thing with the same passion, is something that definitely surprises me and makes it respectable!

The album opens with the cheerful “On The Radio”, a real radio track that could easily get an air play on the radio. “Carol Ann” is a mid tempo Thunder track among the best moments of “Bang!”. The next song “Retribution” is even more interesting…Even though it’s not a typical Thunder track, the melancholy, the directness and the simplicity that you’ll see in it makes it special. The aforementioned tracks along with Have Mercy”, “Miracle ManandWatching Over You” could probably be the reason for you to get this album.

An album that will definitely satisfy all the expectations of Thunder fans.
