"Black Butterfly"
Label: Eleven Seven
After quite some extra abuses and after sharing the same stage as a support act with Motley Crue – as a result to Josh Todd’s participation in Motley Crue’s new cd “Saints Of Los Angeles” and the title track video clip - …Buchcherry are back. It’s been two years since their previous release “15” and I am happy to say that the band was not just a “firework” but they are here with another release.
So, having hard many tims their new cd, it is clear that they sounde a little more “loose” than the previous time, but that doesn’t mean that they are any less good musically or lyrically. Songs like “Dreams”, “Don’t go away” and “Rose”, show the natural sequel to hits from the “15” cd like “Everything” “Sorry” and “Carousel”. In addition, the track “Too drunk to fuck” comes like another “Crazy bitch” in order to remind us the groovy side of the band, as well as the “Too tired”, “Rescue me” and “Fallout” are the rock dynamites to hit the radio worldwide…
The album is a total satisfaction for Buchcherry fans – I am 100% satisfied- and I think it will even attract more new fans, because I believe that the band really has “something”!!! Motley rumbled it; won’t everybody else see that as well???!!! |
