Sarasin A.D.
"Daggers, Lust, Disgust"
Label: ArtistWorXX
Saracin A.D is a band from Canada consisted of veteran musicians who have co-operated from time to time with some of the greatest names of the Hard rock scene such as: Billy Sheehan, Brighton Rock, 24K, Peter Criss, Lou Gramm, Tony Levin, Jim Gilmour and Tom Lord Alge. More analytically Greg Boileau – Guitars, Rob Grant - Bass Guitar, Phil Naro – Vocals, John Rogers – Guitars, Roger Banks – Drums are great musicians and they’re doing a great job.
The cd has 13 tracks that they are quite different the one from the other, as for the kind of music that they represent. From the very first hearing I can identify references in heavy Hard rock and in Heavy metal as well, while rock playing can be identified in the track “The Partying”. But in general, Heavy metal dominates the taste of the songs while the production follows the same path as well.
The guitars are heavy and well performed, and the performance of the singer is awesome, while the rest of the instruments do the best of playing. What I wanted to quote is the lack of freshness that characterizes a new band, fact that is equalized with the experience though.
The best moments of the cd, are the songs “In America”, “No Sensation” και “Keep Running”. Finally this is a release for the friends of Classic Heavy metal-Rock.
