From The Inside
"Visions"
Label: Frontiers
2004 Danny Vaughn gave us his first album with From The Inside, a fine piece of work that can stand as an example of how modern hard rock should be written. I thought (and still think) of it as the best of his last solo albums. So, I was quite anxious to hear what that second effort would sound like and if it would actually be “from the inside”… So, “Visions” is an album that stretches almost up to one hour and generally speaking is good. It doesn’t have the surprises that the first album had, but the level of the artist is always high. The tracks “Light Years”, “Making Waves”, “Days of Hunger” are really good. Despite that, I have the feeling that something is missing. Anyway, this is an album definitely made for Vaughn’s fans, both from Waysted and Tyketto times. If someone would like to check this effort, I would suggest that you first check the first album of 2004 and then this one… |
