"The Road Goes On..."
Label: Perris Records
This is a new release from the Spanish hard rockers Hardreams and more specifically it is the second - as the first one was in 2004 titled “Calling Everywhere” - in which I find them more mature in their performing and composing as well.
With the first hearing, I am impressed with the unique sound that they have achieved and the enormous production, fact that has to stand in this kind of music. It is obvious that Hardreams have similarities with bands such as Magnum & Survivor, while I could also compare them to Pride of Lions only with “softer “guitar playing.
The cd includes 11 tracks of typical Hard rock in which there are some tracks that might be great hits. The couplets are melodic and remarkable, while the overall sense is optimistic feelings that drive to good obsession, well performed guitars, with not any “funny” complexions and crystal clear melodic vocals. Among the tracks I distinct the “Apologies”, “Rebel Heart” , the livish “Two Shots”, the self titled track of the cd “The Road Goes On”, and finally “My Last Desire”, which is my favorite.
This release is a very nice proposal for the summer for all the fans of melodic Hard Rock.
