Children Of Bodom
"Blooddrunk"
Label: Spinefarm
I really like this band and I really want the best for this band. I truly believe that Laiho is one of the best guitar players in the metal scene. Everything they play and everything they do excites me, at least that was happening until their previous release.
After 11 years of being continuously on the top, my expecations from Children of Bodom are very high. This is not their best album, I know and you’ll know as soon as you listen to it, but I’m sure that they can a lot better. This is not a bad album, however I was disappointed because I was expecting more from their release, something that would take them a step ahead. They have great potentials, as the band consists of great musicians who unfortunately don’t deliver their actual music “class”.
My opinion is that “Blooddrunk” has nothing more to say that COB’s previous release “Are You Dead Yet?”. I was so expecting a killer new album and all I finally got was nothing more than just the same old stuff. Why? |
