When musicians like Kip Winger release their piece of work, the hair metal world usually can’t wait for a come back to their good old style. Now that also Winger’s “Demo Anthology” was recently released, the expectation has grown a lot bigger!!

The thing with this artist is that he has made a lot of steps towards different directions but also related to each other and most of to his own temper. Don’t tell me that through all Winger’s albums, except for their biggest and well-known hits, you haven’t spotted proggressive elements as well, even in the “In The Heart Of The Young”.

However, let’s concentrate on this last effort of Kip Winger. Surrounded by great musicians once again, like Andy Timmons (Danger Danger), Rod Morgenstein, Κen Mary, Alan Pasqua (Fifth Angel, Alice Cooper, House Of Lords), Winger offers us a musical travel far beyond the “hair metal” vein that opens new horizons including a song that could be described as almost classical music.

I would say without despute that the lovers of good music should invest on this album as they will be surprised by this huge musician.

The old folks probably remember that during early 90’s , MTV’s Beavis & Buthead, every time they wanted to make fool of hair metal bands and especially their musicians, used Winger as and example. If the producers of this show kept that attitude up to now, after such releases like this one, they would definitely regret it!
