This is a long awaited release for me because Disturbed is first of all one of my favorites bands and then my expectations from them are very high.

When I first listened to “Indestructible” I was somehow disappointed. I thought that it has a lack of aggression comparing to their previous work, but after a few moments of careful listening I realized that this new effort of Disturbed is once again excellent!

In this release they are following the successful formula of their previous album but with even more “metal” elements, more guitar solos, they are plainly more melodic and also we have some faster and darker songs. This turn to darker songs came as a result of the past two difficult years that Draiman (vocals) had. It’s true that “Inside The Fire” was written about the suicide of an ex-girlfriend of Draiman’s, a song that has been an outstanding video clip as well. It’s nice to see a band getting personal from time to time and “Inside The Fire” shows as that. The album consists of 12 tracks, Draiman’s vocals are as they have always been and Donegan shows us confidently his guitar class.

“Indestructible” is a excellent work, as I have already mentioned, darker than the previous works and balancing between aggression and disappointment. I could go on telling you about this album, about how good it is and what a great job Disturbed have done, but instead I will just tell you go get it, hear it and enjoy it.
