Big Life

"S/T"

Label: AOR Heaven

Big Life is a new project by Steve Newman (Newman) and Mark Thompson-Smith (ex-Praying Mantis), moving inside the limits of the general AOR sound.

This new album contains 12 tracks, all well performed, melodic and as they should be, performed by capable, seasoned musicians. Melodic choruses and hard driven guitar parts, keyboards up front, exactly what you expect from a decent AOR album, naturally 80s in feeling and style.

The problem is that among the piles of relevant bands and albums that go around lately, it is hard for a band, even a good and experienced one, to see the sunlight. Now, the questions is whether Big Life make it… well…
