"Evils Back"

Label: Metal Heaven

It seems that in the countries that hold a tradition in rock/pop music, even shows like the X-Factor can produce results worth mentioning. Oliver Weers, despite his “prior honest life”, had to take this step and participate in the Danish branch of the X-Factor show in order to make this important leap forward.

And this leap materialized into his first complete album titled “Get Ready”, a debut that received very good reviews and boasted contributions by the likes of Tommy Aldridge and Marco Mendoza.

With this sophomore release, Weers evolves from what he created with his debut. Perfectly executed melodic hard rock or melodic metal (at places) through a well executed engineering which makes it sound much more interesting than what it actually is. The same result have the contributions of his guests Anders Borre (bass/engineering), Anders Bo (guitars) and our very own Laki Ragazas (guitars).

Two good albums in a row is a pretty good mark for a relatively new-coming artist and with this new release, talented Oliver Weers declares that he is here to stay.
