Wanted were a band that emerged into the USA Midwest by the end of the 80s, but their sound is more relevant to more western motifs while their career just…went south…

Wanted disbanded with no glory since they were not able to win that contract that would propel their songs, no matter if they managed to attract quite a following that regularly attended their shows.

This CD contains their best songs and a part of their Showcase Live performance at the Ritz Music Hall. Typical of their era, Wanted were a mixture of the most successful sounds of the latest period of American Hard Rock style. The songs contained herein are totally indicative of what a good band could present in an era that interest for such things was diminishing.

Like many other competent bands of the time, Wanted didn’t make it and CDs like this can only be a memorandum of the lost potential of a doddering music scene.

Fans of good 80s hard rock should really try this out. It’s worth the trouble.
