King's X

"XV"

Label: Inside Out

King’s X do not need introductions. For over two and a half decades now they are a guarantee of progressive hard rock. They are a band with an artistic personality and acclaimed song compositions.

In their new cd, they appear renewed and modern as if time passes by them and hesitates to dispute their creativity. “XV” contains all of their classic characteristics but also has a powerful reason to exist.

The reason is very simple: Good songs, no more words needed here! There is a great groove in some of the songs, excellent vocal lines and memorable choruses, up tempo mood in addition to some really sensitive ballads. In some places the tempo is almost dancing-like in a good sense of course and the fact that the songs sound so cool without at all sounding easy is truly remarkable.

No more descriptions are necessary. A special cd by a special band....
